About the artist
Ugochukwu-Smooth C. Nzewi trained as a sculptor at the University of Nigeria where he graduated in second-class (upper credit) and emerged as the over-all best graduating student in the 1999/2000 session. He is a multi-talented artist who finds creative expression through sculpture, conceptual art, painting, installation, music, poetry and culture activism. He has been involved in a series of multi-feral arts and culture programmes in Nigeria and abroad.
